   Summary:
There are several components of the specification required for a patent application. In addition to the physical components, the specification must meet the requirements stated in 35 U.S.C. 112.

Briefly, those include that the specification must include a written description of the invention, enablement, and best mode of carrying out the claimed invention. This appendix covers the 3 separate requirements of the specification and all additional details of 35 U.S.C. 112.

This section will be heavily tested. Expect to see several questions (possibly as many as 7) dealing with 35 U.S.C. 112.
